How to Test RBAC
Testing Steps:
- Invite test users using the "Quick Start" section above
- Each user will receive an invitation email
- Users click the invitation link and sign up
- Log in as each user and verify they can only access their assigned resources
- Check the sidebar - menu items should be filtered by role permissions
- Try accessing pages directly via URL - access should be denied if not permitted
Test User Credentials:
Admin User: admin@synclo.testPassword: (Set when signing up from invitation)
Sales Manager User: manager@synclo.testPassword: (Set when signing up from invitation)
Sales Rep 1: rep1@synclo.testPassword: (Set when signing up from invitation)
Sales Rep 2: rep2@synclo.testPassword: (Set when signing up from invitation)
Permission Examples:
- Admin: Can access all pages, manage users, settings
- Sales Manager: Can view all leads/deals, manage team
- Sales Rep: Can only view their own leads and accounts
